14 Maus employees and Italian investors coordinated by Italglobal Partners buy out 100% of the capital of Maus, leading producer of machine tools.

Milan, 4 August 2014 - Maus, leading machine tool producer owned by Finaid of the Carraro family, has been bought out by a group of Italian investors among which the holding company Forever of the Rossi Cairo family, Injection Capital of Leonardo Bruzzichesi and Italglobal Partners, an investment holding company established by Ruggero Jenna and Francesco Sala, which coordinated the operation.

The management of Maus and 11 employees from every department also participated in the buyout. They are convinced that the company holds great potential and that this is an innovative way to guarantee the commitment of everyone in the development of the company over the next few years.

Maus, which has its headquarters in Campodarsego (Padua), in northern Italy is the world leader in automatic grinding and vertical turning and has always recognized that technology and internationalization of markets are the two strategic sources of development of its business. This operation is consistent with Maus' strategy, which is based on pursuing excellent products through the acceleration of research programs and reinforcement of the company's presence on the market. It is characterized by a high rate of growth in machine tool consumption in Brazil, China and India.

Giorgio Rossi Cairo has assumed the role of President of the company, while Roberto Sammartin, who in the previous management held the position of General Manager, has been named Managing Director.

Italglobal Partners was assisted in the operation by Rödl & Partner for legal issues and by Grant Thornton for accounting and fiscal aspects. Finaid was assisted by Chiomenti for the legal side and by Ethica Corporate Finance for the financial aspects. The operation was also financed through funds supplied by Unicredit S.p.A.
