GIFA 2011

At the upcoming GIFA 2011 expo, MAUS will be showcasing a robotised cell, constituted by a robot (with a payload capacity of 210 kg) that manipulates the grinding tool and by a SAM 300 flexible grinding machine, conceived for the job foundries market and intended for the grinding of parts weighing up to 20 kg.

This robot completes the MAUS range, thereby offering customers the possibility to choose the best solution to match their specific requirements: machine or robot, or machine and robot.

The SAM 300 is the smallest model in MAUS's renowned, well-established JB series of flexible grinding machines. The models in this series have proved to be a great success on the market thanks to their unrivalled flexibility, which is assured by, amongst other features, the automatic pallet change device. This series allows for the automatic grinding of components of a multitude of different sizes and weights, and also makes it possible to carry out various different types of grinding.

At GIFA 2011, MAUS will also be exhibiting solutions that combine grinding and mechanical machining, with a view to offering an ever-more comprehensive range of products that have what it takes to deliver further added value in the complete machining of parts such as brake discs, brake drums, hubs, etc
